    Hi guys, my name is Armari, I'm from Bermuda, and I'm a huge soccer fan and love watching movies, specifically Marvel/DC or any type of action/adventure and comedy. Most times I keep to myself but when necessary I can engage in conversation. At the moment, I'm studying psychology, but I plan to change to computer science. After I graduate, I don't really know what I want to do, but it'll probably involve technology in some way. I'm not photogenic so the picture I've included is from a little while ago.

              (6D's of Exponential Growth Video By Peter Diamandis)                In module 3 of Technology for leading and learning, we discussed Ray Kurzweil’s Law of Accelerating Return. This law, simply put, states that technology further advances itself by pushing its limits and revamping the linear way we see change and development. How Entropy Relates To UX Design

                     In module 4 we looked at the law of entropy in technology. This states that all technologies trend toward disaster, and ultimately their downfall. As a product develops, the entropy or amount of disaster increases. What we also discussed was the S-Curve Model and paradigm shifts. In my blog today I will cover how entropy, the S-Curve Model, and paradigm shifts relate to UX Design.  S-CurveModel (Figure 1. Typical Technology S-Curve., n.d.)                 I will begin this blog by talking about how UX design can be connected to entropy, I will talk about what we covered about the S-Curve Model and the paradigm shift. The S-Curve Model is used to visualize the entropy of a product. Simply put, it is a chart that shows the rate of the trend for a product, or really anything. Beginning with the introduction of it, then moving to the growth, next the maturity or development of the product before finally coming to the decline and downfall of what it is describing.

The Flywheel Strategy for My Goals

                  This week in Tech for Leading and Learning we looked at the flywheel technology leadership strategy. The flywheel technology leadership strategy is a good way to ensure success in doing your one thing. Your one thing can be a short-term goal, mid-term goal, or even a long-term goal. I chose my One-Thing, UX Design because I enjoy using computers and I want to help people navigate technology better. Constantly referring to the flywheel you create for your one-thing can help make sure that you are on the right track to achieving your goal.
